 Southeast Colorado | The trans brake is only for stopping the transmission from continueing to spin after you depress the clutch pedal. That is only for when you are not moving and the tranny is in neutral such as when you first take off. My 9 speed shifts at 500 rpm intervals between gears but I suppose rear end ratios would effect that differently between trucks. I personally think the 9 speed is the easiest truck tranny of all to shift. But then again I learned on the 5 and 4 double sticker Mack! | |
