Feeder chain tensioner tightened the same on each side?
Gotta make sure the spacers are the same length under the spring and that none of the hardware is damaged
Also stripper bar causes more issues than it solves in some conditions
We are hard surfacing cones and cages in high wear areas with great results and also cutting first two rasp bars off that are over cone
Haven’t sold any in are area but hearing guys are getting good results with old style spinner spreaders
We have being putting presicion elevator chains in with good luck also
Jd tech I know tells me it’s standard protocol to put $40000 a year into a s series
Bologna ! Have an S670 that is 9 years old now with around 1700 sep hours. Have it inspected every year biggest yearly bill I've had was $15,000 and that's with their labor included. You've got to really abuse and not take care of a machine at all to spend $40,000. That amount is not common at all unless you harvested a bunch of down corn and wrecked all the augers and pans. JD combines have troubles of there own but you hardly ever hear about cone or feederhouse problems on a deere like you do with case. Edit: Most years it's around $6,000-$8,000 for everything.
