ND | Acres you run in farming what you farm will give a clue, walkers in past had lower workorders than rotors, if your putting 600 hrs/yr vs 150 hrs/yr which happens with some, what crops your doing like wheat vs corn or down south in rice, some guys trade every yr even with low low hrs, some guys run them 2000 hrs & say they are junk, next guy buys them at 2000 hrs & runs till they literally drop-10,000 hrs?, some combines are shedded every night & some never see a shed & everyone is Happy happy in between. Some farmers are switching between all four brands & probably getting all the big discounts for trading one color against another & others stay with the same brand because they say they know how to set that color or they wear that brand of shorts. But nowadays some colors other dealers will not trade-because its the wrong color. There has been since the 40's colors that used to be are long forgotten with the younger farmers but in some sort of way they all got the job done one way or another. Thats all I've got to say about that. | |
