Subject: RE: Sloan Express draper belts for MacDon ... issues with trash under them

West KY
I ran qpower belts on my fd75 for three seasons with no problems at all. But then this year cutting soybeans behind wheat (18 inch high wheat stubble) i had trash buildup causing belts to jump.. I did adjust the deck height properly according to manual as well as belt tension. Nothing would keep it from happening. even lowered my skid shoes. So i went back to macdon brand belts and No trouble at all.
Macdon has patents on the double rib on the bottom of the belt as well as the front/rear lip on the top side of the belt. These help trash out. Thats why the aftermarket belts are different.
