My Capello head is a lawnmower blade style chopper. I have had problem with sap plugging my rotary screen on my old 2388 but never really bad with my new to me 6140.

Does the rota disc leave longer stubble than a lawnmower style head ?

I have not seen a Capello in the field so I can not compare to that. The pic that I posted earlier is running the RotaDisc pretty low and then running stalk stompers. A RotaDisc in good shape will chop as good as anything on the market, and better than most.
