A friend of mine suggests a thimble ful of whiskey. I have been sober many years since drinking has been problematic for me but if you partake sometimes, it might be worth a shot. I think it's called a hot toddie.
I find that 190 proof grain alcohol is more economical.
A bottle usually lasts me six months.
