Subject: IA has a "Class D", which allows operator to drive semi, within 150 miles of farm.

Oskaloosa, Iowa 52577

But........I think it is amazing that legally my wife could drive a tandem plus pup using her "regular" license......but not a  semi..........with the same lbs.

DOT Enforcement told me that there is a lot of difference between handling a semi tractor in slippery situation, for example, than a loaded straight truck.........and I agree.......so there is rhyme to their reasoning.
