C IL | You might want to do a little checking. A pad with a nice drain seems preferable, and it might be a "point" source of pollution from chem, fuel residue, etc and subject to EPA. A nice pad that just slopes to the side might be a "non point" source and free from those guys. It will be there for a long time, so there might be new laws apply sometime in the future.
Fert dealer here could not install gutters on his fert shed because it would become a "point" source of pollution.
Maybe you can guide the runoff into a backhoe wide trough that would be easy to clean, but not go directly into a tile drain?
