Difference between disc chisel and coulter chisel?

A disc chisel will turn more dirt. (concave blades and chisel shanks, not rippers) With the new disc chisels on the market now, I don't see trash being much of an issue. Most have 24" blades. To me a coulter chisel is one row of straight blade coulters and chisel shanks to follow.
