Clanton, Al
I had a 715 with symptons much the same. There is a fitting on the front of the injection pump where the return line from the injecters hooks to. The fitting( i think it is actually a check valve) has a glass ball with a spring under it and over time the spring will get packed full of trash that keeps the spring from flexing.Screw the fitting out and with a piece of wire bent slightly on the end scrape and blow the trash out until it is good and clean. Don't break the glass ball or it will idle crazy and smoke pretty good(Don't ask me how i know.) The power will be much improved. Also make sure the fitting in the bottom of the fuel tank is not stopping up, it has a screen attached to it that can really slow the flow down.
