Sounds like I have several things that I need to check out (reverser switch, etc.)
How would I go about testing the capacitor to know if it is good or bad? The capacitor has posts for two leads, but each of these two posts has four prongs that a spade plug could fit on. Do I have to make sure that the spade is on a certain one of these four prongs or are all 4 prongs the same on each of the posts? When I replaced the bad wire going to the capacitor, I did not really pay attention to which of the 4 prongs the spade came off of and am not sure that I got it back on to the same prong. I assumed that this would not be a problem, but correct me if I am wrong.
