A little North and more East of Kansas City | I ran a 565a (twine only) over 16,000 bales. Probably second most reliable baler I've owned out of 6. 18 to 20 bales an hour avg on a day to day basis. Weighed about 1550lbs fresh mostly grass bales, alfalfa and clover little heavier. I usually set it to wrap at 66 inches diameter. I had 140 pto horses pulling it, plenty of tractor for it, even in some pretty good hills. It wouldn't bale anything a little high in moisture!!!
956 is pretty much same machine, the net wrap option had a little trouble working from what I've heard. But as was mentioned that one is twine only.
For the price I'd think that would be a cheap way to make some good bales.
I never had a problem with the bales keeping in decent condition for about 8 months outside. |
