WOW!! Sounds like a lot of hate for your local dealers that bust their butts to keep you guys running during planting and harvest!! I can't imagine why anyone would buy ANYTHING from any dealership that knows that their ONLY desire was to rip you off!! I farmed for 17 years before taking a job at dealership,(this was the dealership where I had done business while farming) and I promise you it is different looking when you sit on the other side of the desk!! I will be the first to tell you that there are some overpriced parts but....I had NO idea what it really cost to run a dealership!! I tell you what you should do---next time you have a major breakdown on Friday @ 4 o'clock, call Shoup, A&I, or Tisco and see which one has the trained tech's available and will send them right on out to your farm!! OUCH!!! I know that will make some of you mad but really.... it is not intended too. There is a place for these other suppliers and yes, as service manager, I use them sometimes but grouching about your dealers is like grouching about the farmer with your mouth full!!
