Not ALL dealers fall into that category. Here at my place lets price a simple Turbo Teejet tip.
Teejet list - $6.42
Sloan Express - $3.69
Shoup - $3.80
Manufacturer direct (name with-held - but a name brand sprayer) - $4.42 DEALER NET
Jensen catalog - $2.90
Point is, if we had to buy everything OEM, we'd be charging list price also. I'm lucky to be selling products with a choice for supply chain.
I doubt Deere, CIH etc would honor warrantees with after-market parts.
Why do dealer's parts have such a mark-up?
