Subject: RE: Deere Reman engine

Geuda Springs, Kansas
Thats interesting, Deere sends their overhaul kits to the dealer with the piston and rings already in the sleeve. All the tech has to do is drop it in the engine. Deere says not to take them out as they are already in their correctly. However Most good techs check them just to make sure and 4 times out of 10 you will find the rings aren't staggered. I am sure these are the same parts going to the reman plant.
