SW Indiana | I'm seeing the exact same thing. Corn was 30% dried to 15.8 in heat/cool dryer and went into the bin at 95 deg. We cored 3k from 48' bin at 15.1. Temp cables showed a warm spot about at the level we were shut down for 5 days and started filling again. As we get to that spot, corn is 15.8 and 110 deg. Same as it left the dryer. Grain and air temp was about 50 when this went in. Other 6 cables in bin are showing temps of 50 which is what i expected. 1st year for temp cables, more going in next year. | |
