Ellsworth IL | I've ben called to vac out 3 farmers bins and 2 bins at elevators due to poor quality after drying . An elevator I just finished yesterday was mostly flour , it was to the point that no air could move through the corn . The vac looked like it was on fire all day long both days and the dump shed next to the vac had dust and red dog 3 inches deep for the entirety of the building . The corn had the quality of 3 year old corn .
I think the next time it looks like a late harvest , guys need to invest in a cleaner between the dryer and the bins. | |
