It's good to hear that some folks have made it work. The Brown Bear Aerators are especially encouraging. I'm sure that a backfiller would be harder on a machine, but they have a pretty large aerator mounted on a 7000 series JD. It looks much larger than the backfiller that we would be mounting.
As for the type of tractor or transmission.....I think we would definately opt for an IVT tractor if we proceed with this. We were already leaning toward an IVT on our next tractor due to other duties anyway.
Looks like we may be adding another winter project at some point. | |
