I like honey in small amounts, but it so expensive anymore that I rarely use it in cooking or for anything. I am going to have to start keeping me own bees! Honey has wonderful antiseptic properties and I used to put it on the kids' scrapes and cuts and it served as a great barrier to dirt and what not.
