How do you get 1% better on the moisture test?

Because of how H20 testers are calibrated.

They are all subject to spot check by the state, and if I'm not mistaken tested at least yearly. I'm fairly convinced that people that think there is a significant difference in moisture testers that is reproducible from load to load and year to year are also the type that think people in other businesses are out to get them all the time.

You need to get up to speed on how much tolerance is allowed on H20 testers and still be given the stamp of approval by the state. Properly calibrated H20 tester that tests @ close to max allowance is a license to print $ for the buyer.
