I have a field that I have just been splitting the old rows for 5 years. Set yeild record for my farm last year.

I really took a hit the 2nd year, in hindsight I would jack up N rates about 30lb that 2nd year and believe I could have avoided a lot of that hit.

One friend of mine who no-tills and strip tills several thousand acres is planning two passes with a salford in the spring since they didn't get fall strips made. Then just run the row cleaners agressive enough to be sure and move the residue.
