Central MN | I've worked in the grocery business for about 20 years now. Saltine shortages seem to happen most years where they will allocate you. What that means is you can order as many as you want but they will only send you x amount of cases per delivery. Same thing happens with graham crackers many summers. Usually though the saltine allocation doesn't start untill mid winter. In our store, we are usually getting shorted around 30 to 40 percent of what we order. Obviously some days are better/worse than that but that would be a fair average | |
