Subject: RE: Capello Corn head

Hooker Twp,Ne
Have had 8 row for about 7 years. Has stock choppers. Need to change blades about every 1500-2000 acres. At least we do. Heavy chains and sprockets. Next to no problems,so far. Had some down irrigated corn a few years ago and like any head,it’s a slow go. We took shield off we’re it goes into feeder house. In down corn it wanted to bunch with it on. Do get shatter when corn gets to dry but probably same with other heads. And yes snouts do bend. However I blame that more on driver error and wife calling my cellphone and expect me to answer right away. Got to blame it on someone.
