Which is what?

Deere (and all other equipment companies) has been gouging its customers on price for products produced as cheaply as possible?

They were selling their products at the going rate, just like you do. At no point when commodities were high did any farmer say "the price of corn is too high, knock $1/bu off that."

The prices would be ok if it wasn’t made as cheap as possible and designed to fail and do so quickly in the name of selling parts and more new equipment.

Not to mention mergers and buyouts allowed by our govt that have led to near monopoly like structure of equipment manufacturers.    Yeah, they’re priced “competitively” but there’s not much competition.
