| Engine teardown and assembly in a non-union shop. Very comfortable, will all the tools and amenities one could imagine.
Also worked in a hardfacing plant making tillage tools for 10 hour shifts. About the worst part was that big old building could be cold. Par for the course.
And technically, not a factory, but for a commercial feed mill (which is dirtier than most factories and just as challenging as many).
