Rich,
I have a '93 and have to adjust cluch regularly. I will scan the procedure from the owners manual tonight. I think...once you have the cover off with the two little phillips screws you will see two jam nuts with flat head screw ends in them. I adjust the front most one. Loosen the jam nut and then turn the screw head one revolition clockwise. Then turn counterclockwise until it starts to feel tight. I have found it may take a time or two to get right is you have not done much before. Then tighten jam nut once screw is tight. It helps to put the wrench over the screw driver so the adjusting screw does not turn when tightening the jam nut. Hope this helps. I will scan and email too.
