CEO Steve Jobs has dismissed the low end of the market, saying: "We don't know how to build a sub-$500 computer that is not a piece of junk."
Maybe they need to figure this out, because the lion's share of the market is in the low-to-midrange computer, not the high-end. Especially not the high-end running an alternative OS. A sub-$500 Apple might actually get people interested.
Also funny how many "pieces of junk" are serving their users just fine. |
