SE Minnesota | I had a double discectomy a few years ago. After wasting some money on a chiropactor, I went to a real doctor and got an MRI and then a discectomy. Sometimes surgery is the answer. And last year I reinjured my back and bad pain for 3-4 months before going to the doctor. I ended up getting a cortisone shot in the spine and have been good ever since...............of course losing 30 pounds didn't hurt either.
I think chiropractors are a waste of time for back pain. Getting an MRI is the first step. If the MRI doesn't show herniation, you can stick with a chiropractor if you want, but at least you'll know for sure | |
