That's what they all said about my issue too. All recommended surgery as last resort, do this do that, but don't have surgery unless absolutely neccessary. What I found out was I should have had the MRI done right off the bat and not listended to anyone else. Each case is different. In mine, I have developed some arthritis at my age (likely not applicable to the original thread starter) that is causing spurs to come into contact with various parts of my spinal cord. Almost lost use of my right leg two years ago, and now my lower back (found in the most recent MRI that did not show up two years ago) . Going back down to spine hospital today for 2nd cortisone injection to aid in walking erect.
My suggestion is DO NOT PUT OFF LOOKING INTO ANYTHING AFFECTING YOUR SPINE. You will pay later dearly if put off. | |
