Subject: RE: Chiropractors . . .

UP / Thumb of Michigan
I agree with iseedit. Yes, there are some quacks around. Both chiropractors AND MD's. I've been real lucky, found a good chiropractor over 20 yrs ago. Up until then, all the MD's and DO's I'd been to were real good at writing scripts. I'd go home and drool on the couch for a couple of days, and then feel good enough (because the pain was masked by pain med's) to go right back out and screw myself up again. For an awful lot of years, only real longer term relief I got was from my chiropractor.

I did eventually get operated on last February. Oddly enough, my chiropractor had diagnosed the problem the second time I was in his office. He told me there would come a day he couldn't help anymore, that day came last year. As a side note, took about that long for the "real" medical profession to discover the same thing he'd told me a long time ago.

I have a lot of respect for the medical profession. Been married to a RN for over 20 years now. We get along just great, so long as we don't discuss MD's vs Chiropractors.
