Western Iowa | At about your son's age, I dislocated something in my back/pinched a nerve, I am not sure exactly what the problem was. I had jumped over a small ditch of water, while I was carrying my sister. The next morning, I had so much pain that took nearly an hour to put on my socks.
Parents called a nearby chiropractor, and he met me at his office on a Sunday. After the treatment, I felt bit better, and my recovery began. It took a couple weeks, and two or three more treatments for that pain to fully subside.
I since learned that some chiropractors are much better than others. Some like to play the game to keep you coming back to them regularly. But I was lucky to find one one that actually focused on correcting the problem, rather than making me a regular patient.
