Coles County, Illinois | I tend to think you should buy as much of of a DJI Mavic as you can afford. The problem with this approach is that DJI is constantly improving the less expensive models. I bought a Mavic Air 2 Fly more combo and now a MINI 2 is almost as good as it is. One plus as you move up in the Mavic series is that you get better obstacle avoidance but with crop scouting one can be careful and get by with fewer sensors.
I often go thru a battery scouting but almost never use more than two. You can pretty much unbox these and fly after watching a couple you tube videos. Just stay away from trees. | |
