When you are refered to "clean the moisture sensor" you should do the following. Remove the two black side pieces from the meter and make sure that no debris is built up behind the plunger and the two ports are open and not plugged. remove the black cover to expose the circuit board and the actuiator piston. Make sure that no dirt or moisture has gotten past the plunger seal and the chamber is dry. While a short can indicate a failed circuit board or actuiator I have found that it is most often the connection to the board or the relays.
