NE IA | Yup. The price run up in fertilizer is, in all honesty, the a big reason we built our hog barn. I have said the real profitable guys in the last run up in prices were the ones who owned hog barns in 2013/14 because the price of fert went up and stayed up, while the price of grains dropped.
I paid more for pumping manure last year than I could have bought commercial fertilizer for but this year its going to cheapen up my fert bill considerably. | |
