I probably wouldnt need the variable rate..... as I only apply between 1 and 3 tons per acre..... my biggest thing right now is to know the acreage of a particular field I am about to spread, and as long as the truck is set right, I would know exactly how much lime I need.
Trouble now is, everything is a guessing game. You stand at the edge of the field and try to estimate by sight how much Lime you will need on the last load.
I wont be needing any of the EZ steer or EZ boom or anything like that. Right now just being able to know the acreage, and have light guidance and a screen is probably the big thing.....
But Im all new to this and dont have a clue.
