East Kansas, DeSoto | In industry we needed totally enclosed and my best electric motors were Toshiba's under high temp applications, 24 hours per day all year and corrosive conditions. Also had to run vertical which was a good bearing test. Even after starting manufacturing in US quality remained. Ours were 25 and 30 HP's. For us anyway when GE started manufacturing in Mexico the motors we used quality went down. This dates back a good many years however. Gifford
