I'm sorry you guys are having so much trouble. I've cut in the rain & in extreme mud without much trouble. It's all due to the float & wing balance being set properly. Plus, having the sensitivity of your Auto Header Height Control (AHHC) set properly will make the head work better in difficult situations. Please keep in mind...
1) Set float first. Float needs to be correct for the wings to work properly.
2) After float is set, then set the wing balance.
3) Ensure AHHC is working.
4) Set AHHC sensitivity.
5) If it's pushing or skipping crop on the ends of the head, it is wing balance.
6) If it's pushing or skipping in all three sections, it is float.
If you want to try adjusting it yourself, please see the attached bulletin that covers all these topics.
I recommend having a factory trained tech setting it. It will be money well spent if you're having that much trouble.
