5 meg is plenty. Something else going on. If it really is 5 meg service, you can do a LOT. Had a nano once that I installed with Copper Clad Aluminum, that did something like that. It was a fairly long run and couldn't figure it out. Lighting took it out, and replaced it with good wire and a new one, and Boom. Best performance ce I ever had.
