Lenawee Co Michigan
I drill a tiny hole on the side of the bearing, inject the grease and cover the hole with a dab of silicone sealant. All the idlers on the combine get this treatment after a few years, and they're good for a few more.

When shooting grease into the side of a bearing, you may have to turn the bearing a bit so the needle goes between your balls rather than hitting one. When it won't take any more grease in the first position, give it a half turn and add more.
