The 9760 we've had since new has always had good power, other than the time when the tubo vane actuator went bad. Then it would hardly carry itself down the road. This has the tier III 9.0L motor. It has always seemed that when we were combining we could speed up a couple tenths of a mph when we kicked the unload auger on. I've heard of other machines that would fall on their face when you kicked the auger on. Currently we're picking 200 bpa (wet) 24% corn with a 612 and tracks running 4.5-5mph. Last year in similar but dryer corn we ran 5-5.5 with an 18 row 20" head. The aftermarket tracks eat up a lot of HP. |
