North East Kansas | We did turn pressure up a little, but i wonder if the springs need replaced at this point. We have never used any grease except for the Mobile from Drago. We have always been using the same stuff even though I do wonder if we should have switched greases on the tensioner assembly for the chain. The mobile just oozes out of this area, and dirt gets in way too easy unless you just grease it all the time. I really think a thicker grease would probably work better for that one thing, but we have always stuck with the mobile like it says too. This is never noticed until a repair, but when we greased this tensioner by the book recommendations, a sludge would build up at back of the tensioner, and it made it hard sometimes to get the chains off when we had to replace something. We just grease like crazy now and that has helped. We did double check on the speed and the dealer said it was set up for 630 shaft rpm that the combine outputs. | |
