I don’t know about the 9255 but on the 9250 you have to make sure the harness pigtails on the back side of the header to the left side of the feederhouse are connected to the right place. You connect them in different places for different modes.

You’ll have to read your 9255 manual to know that. Like I said, maybe the 9255 is different than my 9250.
