Was in Amherstburg , On on the Detroit River , close to Fermii 11 and 1/2 mile (or less from Mi.) and along the river front they have ercted a bunch of Plaques honoring those who gave the ultimate sarifice in WW 1 and WW 11 with a short write up about there family , occupation when enrolled, Military training, ect. Big 1812/1813 war here.
Some were Engineers , machinists , chemist, farmers.....Noticed one had just been married 3 days when deployed overseas...Others had 1 or 2 babies at home....One especially included a letter from his Brother to his Mom that he buried his brother, her Son during a break in battle...He also said he may be next but not to cry , we are not dying in vain.

Then you look at today . we finished an election a week ago Monday , like him or not Mothers, little girls 10 yrs. old, ect. were giving him the finger when he went through the crowd. Fringe party candidate was throwing gravel/stones and we have everyone fighting about getting vaccine or not.

Makes one sick , as lucky to harvest a great crop of beans and have freedoms given from former generations, I hope we don't screw it all up. Lunch over, BTW on harvesting

You remind me of Walter Matthau.
Great American actor.
But part of his personality was to off set other people.
Try to disrupt them to get a better conversation.
I watched one of his least watched movies(pirates 1986).

Good movie but really really bad reviews.

Someone forgot Vietnam and Canada and a whole list.

Electric cars started in the late 1800’s.
Jay Leno has I think 1909 electric car.
One of Elon’s fears is a hack that sends all Tesla’s to one place. They’ve worked in it and solved it.

So in the words of a comic movie(sorry Dave enjoy a good movie).
Lost a drum stick true.
Stuck four yrs on a poxy island.
Still crack a smile.(abbreviated).

Man fights for what he lacks the most.

Movie lost millions at the box office and is hard to find.

Kind of like Jerry van Dyke in my mother the car.

You learn something about human nature.

FYI Walter is a vet of WW2 with a lot of medals.
