northeastern Ohio | I received that email too, and just now received another that states the email was not supposed to go out:
Earlier today you received an e-mail from BASF with the subject "BASF Secure Portal: Your Registration is Complete.” BASF developers were testing a confirmation email function. Unfortunately, there was an error in the test that resulted in these inadvertent emails being sent. You have not been registered for the BASF Portal and no action is required on your part. We also want to reassure you that neither your name nor email address was shared with anyone else receiving that email.
We apologize for the inconvenience and will work to ensure this does not occur again.
