More like John Deere being 15 years late to the flexible section party like a macdon. The fd2 is a updated fd1 which is a updated fd75 which is a updated fd70. So no, I wouldn’t call it macdons response to Deere’s macdon copy.



You are funny. JD FD series are actual flex headers. I didn’t know a rigid header with three 15 ft sections was a true flex header. When did the definition change in that? Always thought a flex header had to have a flexible cutterbar. JD doesn’t even consider their HD 50R a flex header even though Macdon would. In my eyes Macdon still doesn’t make a flex header.
