You missed my point. Locally anyway we had enough moisture by the 1st of September to max what we had. More rain only increases stalk rot on drought stressed corn. Now when stalk gets dry the corn is more likely to break over or drop ears. This is not an avg. year at least here. Corn and beans look like they will be ready at the same time. The wait might be too long in some cases. |
