Had a company here that was "burning" poultry manure to produce electricity and biochar as a bi-product. As I understand they had difficulties getting farmers interested because of cost and difficulties in spreading it because it was so light. Plus, farmers simply weren't/aren't convinced the biochar is worth anything.
