mn | I heard Vilsack talking on the radio today about it. Seems there is a lot of uncertainty as to what the results would be. Private entities looking over the bill say it would hurt farmers, government entities in favor of the bill say it wouldn't. But of corn there is no accountability for things they say.
Apparently he was given land as payment one time. His comment was "this bill will effect me and people like me who own land but don't farm. Bill gates would be another example". I don't believe for a second that politicians would pass a bill that only targets them and their donors as the ones coughing up the money. | |
