It’s not worth a whole lot because of rough condition and the fact that the scabbard isn’t complete. I won’t fool with Craigslist or have a family try selling it on FB because of all the scammers.
The saber was made around 1860 to 1863. It’s just collecting dust and could use a professional restoration in someone eise’s ownership.
Try finding an auction company or business that specializes in selling firearms, swords and older weapons etc. I have seen some older swords/sabers, daggers on Ebay. |
