That's pretty cool.
One suggestion, on takeoff, you should go straight up a hundred feet or so, so the drone can get it's bearings and knows where to come back to in case you ever need to use the "return to home" button when you lose sight or something.
Thanks for the comments. No operating manual came with the drone. When it takes off, about 3 foot off the ground, the controller says "home point updated". Is this not for the return home function? If not, I have been flying wreckless, thinking it would return to the take off mat on its own. |
